This kid from Mississippi was playing a game of ‘Runescape’ when one of his gaming buddies told him to commit suicide. In response, Josh threatened not only to kill himself, but to take his entire school with him. He even went so far as to compare his intentions to Columbine. The ‘friend’ then answered his threats with ‘knock, knock’, in reference to the police showing up at his house. They did. He was arrested and sat in jail for nine months. He ended up getting a six-year prison sentence and had to get mental health treatment, even though he had no weapons and teachers testified in his favor.

Here is a crazy one. This Beijing man tweeted false information on the movie ‘Final Destination 6’. Pretty soon he couldn’t be found, and even his computer disappeared. It was discovered that he was in jail, and his computer had been confiscated. He ended up doing a year in a camp for disrupting social order. Wow.

  1. “10 Internet jokes that resulted in jail”. Very first one doesn’t result in jail. Internet? More like inter-nyet!
