Pollock was one of the most well-known American abstract artists who contributed to the Impressionism phase which an impressive combination of yellow and brown drips and drizzles of paint along the very large canvas; which sold for $140 million in 2006 to a David Martinez, despite denials by his attorneys.

The French artist has the title of most expensive paintings in the world for about $254 million in 2011 when it was purchased by the Royal Family of Qatar. It was a long-lasting painting first made in 1892.
