46. Steven Anthony Lawrence
Lawrence earned fame and fortune working on Disney’s “Even Stevens” as Bernard “Beans” Aranguren, but when the show wound up in 2003 so did his acting career. Finding it difficult to get work, he soon started a battle with anxiety and depression which lasted many years. Family and friends played a pivotal role in his ultimate recovery, and he now works in California as a salesperson in a local mall.
47. Rebecca Ritters
Ritters played the role of Hannah Martin on “The Neighbor” from 1992 to 1999, after which the cute 6th grader vanished from sight. Recently she was spotted at a restaurant in LA, but we understand that she works as a journalist for Deutsche Welled in Berlin.
48. Mara Wilson
Who could forget Mara’s amazing portrayal of Mathilda in the movie of the same name, or her role in the box office smash “Mrs. Doubtfire”? Despite her acting success, Wilson quit acting to pursue her true passion, that of becoming a novelist. As a bisexual, she is also actively involved in the LGBT movement.
49. Susan Boyle
We all remember Susan Boyle’s riveting performance on “Britain’s Got Talent”, netting her second place in the competition. However, lashing out at the judges on the show (most notably Simon Cowell) and drinking to excess spelled the end of the record deal she secured as the result of the show. She did a stint in rehab, and now works as a manager in the local betting shop.
50. Maia Brewton
Brewton had credits working in the movie “Adventures in Babysitting”, as well as the sitcom “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose”. However, the child star of the 80’s and 90’s respected her father’s wishes to give up acting, and now works as a defense attorney after graduating from Yale with a law degree.
