7. Popocatépetl In Mexico
Standing a mere 35 miles from Mexico city, Popocatépetl poses a very real threat. Since 1519 this volcano has erupted over 20 different times.
In 2,000 the volcano erupted and thousands of people had to flee their homes for safety.
8. Yellowstone Caldera In The United States
This is one of the biggest natural landmarks within the United States. People travel from all over the world to see the Yellowstone Caldera and its beautiful bubbling springs.
However, there is danger just beneath the surface. Under the Yellowstone Caldera is a giant volcano that, if it were to erupt, could wipe out the entire Western half of the United States.
