1. Rainbow Frog
The amazing Malagasy Rainbow Frog is a rare sight which can only be found over some 100 kilometers in Madagascar’s Isalo National Park. The stunning colors which make this amphibian a popular pet, have also landed it on the Critically Endangered list. Although this frog prefers a burrowing lifestyle, it is also a great climber – capable of scaling steep canyon walls to avoid flash floods. Remarkably – it is a lousy swimmer!
2. Glass Frog
Tiny Glass Frogs have no secrets to keep – if you manage to spot one, you will be able to see right through its’ transparent skin to explore its’ inner workings. The Glass Frog’s appearance makes it easy for it to blend into the environment, hiding from predators amidst the plant life in the forests of Central and South America.
