Most of us are used to seeing those little blue skirts and vests with the caps with wings on them on nearly every stewardess in the world. Regardless of the airline they fly with, it appears that the heads of each pretty much got together and determined their look should remain fairly stagnate. The following are the exception to this rule. Here are twelve of the most amazingly unique stewardess uniforms you have ever seen, which will leave you wondering which indeed is better, and which is worst.
1. Bright Colored Jumpsuits Topped with Top Hats
Blaring oranges, blues, yellows, and greens adorn these full-body cat suits with a geometric splash, and it is all ‘tied’ together with a matching top hat. Sound crazy? Maybe, but true. These stewardess uniforms can be seen at the Seattle Museum of Flight.
2. Aloha, Hawaii!
Here we have ankle-length muumuus in Hawaiian floral patterns, and of course the obligatory lei. Sported on flights to Hawaii in the 1970s, if I were a stewardess and had to wear this I think I would be looking for a new job.
