They are both Irish dogs and kind in temperament which will grow to be about the same in size. They are not prone to violence and are good with children, they enjoy proximity to the people they care for most, and they do love their families, making them exceptionally loyal, kind and affectionate but they will bark at anyone they don’t recognize until they are told to stop.
However neither will care to be around other animals, unless they are raised with them or taught to develop patience for. They are both very loyal as well as being very easy to train. The main difference between the two breeds come largely at the hands of the breeders who wish for their dogs to look more valuable and desirable when in reality they are mostly the same dog as far as everything but their appearance is concerned.
