13. The Red Velvet Ant
Interestingly, this is not actually an ant. Contrary to what the name implies, the Red Velvet Ant is really a wingless wasp.

Living in North America, the Rosy Maple Moth feeds on various maple trees. It’s brightly colored and has a pink and tan body.

From Sub-Saharan Africa, the Red-Cheeked Cordon-Bleu has been described as being one of ” the most admired exotic finches.”
19. The Red Slug
Many people call this the Chocolate Arion although the official name is the Red Slug. This strange looking creature lives on land and is a member of the Arionidae family.
